Dear FTS Colleagues,

I hope everyone is easing back in after the holidays. Winter has definitely arrived, but I’m glad we were still able to come together for our Holiday Party at Wolf Trap and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. It was great to catch up with so many teammates.

 

Fall Highlights & the Shutdown

We successfully made it through the shutdown, and hopefully won’t see another long one anytime soon. While about 40 teammates were furloughed, we chose to postpone and scale back the holiday party to support those impacted. I was truly proud of how everyone embraced that decision and stepped up for one another. That generosity and understanding reflect the family spirit at the heart of FTS. Thank you all.

 

Mission Posture

FTS continues to be on the front lines of critical global events. We were just notified that FTS won a 7 year 30+ engineering prime at WFs! A big thanks to the outstanding staff that exceed all performance expectations supporting revolutionary architectures which made it easy for the government to award this to FTS. I especially want to thank the main authors,

Matt Skeen and Dave Jones, and our BD team led by Katy Whitaker to produce an outstanding proposal for the big win.

 

Our other prime contracts are earning A+ ratings for outstanding national security work, and while we’re still awaiting a few awards and contract actions, all indicators remain very positive. Thank you to our VPs and PMs for driving mission success and navigating a complex environment with professionalism and focus.
